i dont understand the concept of “fluidity” in sexuality whatsoever tbh like how is being bi/pan “fluid” its not like youre only bi/pan some of the time, ur consistently bi/pan and the idea that its “fluid” sounds to me like saying that bi/pan ppl are flicking between being gay and straight which isnt accurate

im not trying to be obtuse here it genuinely doesnt make logical sense as a phrase, to me personally anyway  

as a bi person i completely agree, it’s super annoying for people to consider my sexuality “fluid” because it completely implies that i’m “fluid” between being straight and gay. that’s not what bisexuality is at all.

not to mention how frequently “fluidity” is used to invalidate gay and lesbian people, practically trying to shame them for not being open to date more genders.
